Threads of Love is also working with several community organizations in addition to the hospital in Kingsville.  These organizations offer SeaWind residents a variety of ways to be involved with out local communities.

Driscoll Children Hospital, which can use Chemo Hats for children of all ages.  It’s best if they are soft and stretchy.

Women’s Shelter in Kingsville needs socks (any size or color) for women, children, and teenagers.  Remember there are boys who are at the shelter with mom.  They also need some things we already have, and we’ll donate those as well.

St. Gertrude’s Community Outreach in Kingsville needs things that can’t be purchased with food stamps (toiletries ie: toilet paper, tissue, towels, soaps, deodorants, toothbrush/paste, female products, razors, creams, lotions).

St Gertrude’s is the designated church for Kingsville and provides services to anyone in the community, regardless of religion.

NAS Kingsville can always use diapers for military families with infants and toddlers.  They also need some things we already have, and we will donate those as well.

There will be collection baskets in the Rec Hall Dec - Feb.  If you want to contribute any of the needed items, you can drop things off at the Rec Hall, or bring them to the office.

Please join with other SeaWind residents in supporting our South Texas community.
