Welcome to SeaWind
Notice to Winter Texans:
It is almost time to head for home--so pack up your belongings and point your rig south. Let the fun begin!
The hurricane (Harvey) that devastated the Rockport area was kind to us. We received only 2 inches of rain in the form of gentle showers and winds of 40 to 50 miles per hour.
Most of the workers that lived at SeaWind during the summer have finished their phase of the pipeline and have moved further South.
We will have the opportunity to make some new friends this season. Many of the Winter Texans living at Rockport and surrounding areas need a new home for the Winter. We will accommodate as many as we can for as long as they want to stay. Can't wait to see what new skills, stories and ideas for a good time they bring to share with us. If there are any of our regular Winter Texans that are not coming back this season, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else.
Dave Hoyt as retired as our maintenance man. He and Joanie are having a good time traveling again. We will miss you. Frank Salinas will be our new go to person when we have a problem. Welcome aboard Frank.
If any of you have been to any workshops and have learned a new skill or projects you would like to share with us--let us know. We will put you on the calendar. We are looking forward to a new season of fun with our new activity director, Jill Osse. Glad you are joining us Jill.
Drive carefully--see you soon.
